Aston Youth Soccer – Fall Intramural Registration
Registration for Fall Intramural and Pee Wee sessions will start now and continue through Mid July.
NEW PEE WEE and U6 Breakdown
This year we will be starting a new U6 program that will be run by Future Captains. The break down will go like this:
- 4 year olds and 3 year olds who will turn 4 before the end of the year (born between 8/1/08 and 12/31/2009) will have two sessions on Saturday mornings at either 9 or 10am that will be the traditional Pee Wee Program.
- 5 year olds (born between 8/1/07 and 7/31/2008) will participate in the new U6 program at 11am or 12 pm (times are TBD), where the first part of the hour will be spent learning skills and the second part of the hour will be small sided games. We hope that this will help with the transition of the 5 years olds into the U8 program the following year.
Cost for the U6 program will be the SAME as the Pee Wee program
Fall Outdoor 2013 Registration Fees
- $80.00 – for the first child
- $55.00 – for each additional child
- $165.00 – maximum per family
- Pee Wee Soccer (Born in 2008 & 2009) – $60.00 – maximum does not apply
- Please include a $10.00 late fee if payment is made after June 30, 2013

2013 Summer Camp
July 15-18, 2013
4-12 year olds
Aston Youth Soccer will be running a soccer camp this year from July 15 through July 18 from 9am to noon each day.
The camp will be run by Future Captains and the cost will be $125 for the entire week.
The camp will be held on the field at Northley Middle School

AYSA’s very own Devon Linn of the U14 Galaxy has organized a FREE soccer clinic for boys and girls age 8 to 4. Devon and her teammates will be running the sessions with help from their coaches and parents. Devon is doing this as part of her community service project for the National Junior Honor Society.
While the clinic is free, Devon and her teammates will be running a concession stand and all proceeds will go to DuPont Hospital. So, even if you aren’t interested in the clinic, perhaps you could stop by and make a small donation.

Clinic will be held on Field 9 at Sun Valley High School (past left field of the fenced in baseball field). Please come prepared with a soccer ball and shin guards if you will be participating in the clinic
2013 Spring Soccer
When: Tuesday evenings starting May 14 – ending on June 18
Time: Pee Wee – 6pm-7pm
U8 – 7pm-8pm
Where: Aston Elementary School
Cost: $30 per child
Sessions will be run by Future Captains and will be run in similar fashion to the Winter Indoor sessions, focusing on ball skills then short sided games.
Walk in registrations will be on the following dates at the Aston Community Center:
Friday, April 26 – 6:00-8:00pm
Saturday, April 27 9:00-11:00am

SPACE IS LIMITED. Registration will be close when space is full, so register as soon as possible.

As part of the Aston Youth Soccer Partnership with the Philadelphia Union Youth Soccer Partners, AYSA has 4 season tickets to EVERY Union Home Game. AYSA is making them available to all AYSA members and their family and friends for $35 per ticket. (same as if you bought directly from the team, but $5 less AND no fees!). The schedule is below and the home games are listed in white. The schedule is also available for download by clicking HERE.
If you are interested in purchasing tickets please e-mail Nick Randall at firstname.lastname@example.org. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. We would prefer to sell the tickets as a group of 4, but will be willing to split them into groups of 2.

In October, Eric Segool (U10 Arsenal and U15 Galaxy coach) was part of a group of people who went to El Salvador to do some work at an orphanage there. There are about 20 boys that live there full time and another 50 kids that attend an after school program run by the orphanage. Eric had approached AYSA to see if there was anything we would be able to provide to the kids there. AYSA was able to donate a bunch of reversible jerseys for Eric and his team to take with them and give to the children. There is a link to the photo gallery below of pictures Eric and his team took while they were there. Seems like the kids enjoyed their new jerseys. Thanks to Eric for thinking about asking us to help out and for providing the pictures. Well Done Eric!!
